On June 25, 2020, Amica announced the Amica COVID-19 Auto Refund Program, which will refund customers up to 10% of their monthly auto premium over a period of four months.
If your auto policy was written prior to June 1, 2020, refunds will start being issued in August (a combined refund for both June and July). Additional refunds will be issued in September and October, based on premiums from August and September, respectively.
If your auto policy was written on or after June 1, 2020, and before Oct. 1, 2020, you’re eligible to receive a refund for any of these months (June, July, August, September) that you had a policy with us. A refund will be issued in August (for both June and July), and then on the first of the month following the month in which the policy is effective or processed, whichever is later.
It should be noted that you must remain insured with Amica at the time of payment to receive the refunds.
