Amica Notifications Terms and Conditions
By participating in the Amica Notifications Program (the “Program”), you agree to receive notifications when certain billing and payment events take place on your account and each time there is an update on your Amica policy or claim. Message frequency may vary depending on your billing status and the activities on your policy or claim. Amica does not have a separate charge for the Program, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. By enrolling in the Program, you approve any such charges. You further agree that your participation in the Program is voluntary and not a necessary condition of purchasing any goods or services.
You acknowledge the Program is designed to provide limited, outbound text messages. Except as outlined below, text messages sent to 26422 may not be monitored. For all other related activity, you must go to Amica.com. The Program may recognize certain inbound messages and may generate an automated reply including, but not limited, to the following:
- You will be enrolled by replying YES to the enrollment text notification.
- You can be unenrolled at any time by texting STOP to 26422, which will ensure that you no longer receive text messages from Amica. When you do this, you will receive one additional confirmation message stating that you’ve been unenrolled.
- If you have questions or need additional support, text HELP to 26422, visit Amica.com or contact us.
- If you attempt to send any other text message to Amica, you will receive the following automated reply message: “If you need further assistance, please visit Amica.com or call us at 833-XXX-XXXX.” The telephone number in the automated response may vary.
Text notifications may be delayed or not delivered due to factors outside of Amica’s control and subject to the terms and conditions of your mobile carrier. In emergencies or other periods of high messaging traffic, delivery of notifications could be affected. Amica disclaims responsibility for undelivered notifications, notifications delivered out of order, or other issues arising out of such administrative/technical issues. There are no emergency services available through the Program and it cannot be used to contact 911.
You acknowledge that third parties could send SMS text messages disguised as alerts from Amica, and that the onus is on you to confirm that notifications received are authentic. Amica will never request sensitive financial, personal, or login information through this Program, and if such a request is received, you should immediately inform Amica.
You must be the mobile phone account holder or have permission from the account holder to use the Program. You must be 18 years or older or have permission from a parent/guardian. You will be participating in the Program once you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you cannot participate in the Program.
